Burnt River Wooden BBQ Scraper

A wide, flat hardwood blade on a long handle, with a hang hole so it lives right by the grill. No wire bristles to worry about. Scrape the grates while they're warm, and the edge wears to fit your grill over time.

This one is ambrosia maple, 15-3/4" long with a 5-1/4" blade, 7/8" thick, with a 15° bevel on the scraping edge. It's finished with food-safe beeswax. Ambrosia maple carries its own dark streaks, and it's made by hand in the Kawarthas, so no two come out alike.

Care: wipe it clean and let it dry. Keep it out of the dishwasher, and rub in a little beeswax when it starts looking thirsty.
