Six bottles, one dowel handle, and an opener on the end so nobody goes looking for one.

An open carrier for six cold ones, with a hardwood dowel handle and a bottle opener on one end. It's a good one-morning build from a few short boards, and it makes a gift that gets used every long weekend at the dock.

The inside is 8¼″ × 5½″, sized for two rows of three standard bottles or tall cans. The handle sits 11″ up, so your fingers fit between the bottle necks.
